USPTO Login No Longer Works With Google Chrome

If you’re a patent attorney, you know that whenever there’s a java update it is sometimes questionable whether you will be able to log in to private pair or EFS-web. If you’re a Google Chrome user, this task is about to become a lot harder.

In an attempt to jump start the use of HTML 5, Google Chrome has limited the use of Java since version 42. This means you’ll have to find a new browser to file patents, we suggest Firefox. HTML 5 will be awesome but this change will really cause problems for Chrome users looking to login to USPTO.gov. Simply install Firefox via the link below and run both browsers in tandem.
